Zone Story: Chloe Cannon
“During college I was very happy and never realized how much weight I was actually putting on. I was fairly active in high school, playing multiple sports and occasionally working, but once I started college I put my health on hold. My lifestyle completely changed. I began choosing foods that were the most convenient and I was not very active. I noticed that my clothes were not fitting the way they did before, but I was enjoying my time with my friends so I wasn’t too worried.
It wasn’t until I stepped on the scale the beginning of my senior year that I realized just how much weight I had gained. This was a pivotal moment for me; I decided that it was time to put my health first. I began by making healthier choices when eating and occasionally working out. I saw some progress, and after graduation I decided to become even more dedicated to my health. I starting working out every day for at least 30 minutes and became even more dedicated to my diet. This was when I really started to see my body change, which made me want to push myself even harder.
After months of working out, I hit a plateau and decided that I needed a trainer in order to get the results that I desired. Today I am down over 30 pounds and feel better than I ever have. I have so much more energy and look forward to my workout everyday. The Zone has helped me learn so much about health and fitness. I am so glad that I stayed dedicated to my health, I am also thankful for all the guidance I’ve had along the way.”
